COUNCILS

1. Publications Council

a. Charge
The Publications Council meets annually (or more frequently if necessary) to discuss all matters pertaining to the Society's publications. It reports directly to the Society's Board and will be expected to present policy issues to the Board for action. The Board expects this council to be a powerful forum for the exchange of ideas, problems, and visions, and to be a strong advocate for the centrality of publications in the mission of the Society.

b. Membership
The council is comprised of the immediate former President of the Society as chair, the editors of the Society's periodicals, and the electronic media editor.

2. Interest Groups Council

a. Charge
The Interest Groups Council meets annually to discuss topics of mutual interest.
b. Membership
The elected chairs from each Interest Group sit on this council. The Board Liaison is chair.
