Publications of the Society for American Music
The Society for American Music maintains three regular publications. Our peer-reviewed publication is the Journal of the Society for American Music, a quarterly journal. The Bulletin of the Society for American Music is published three times yearly to provide a timely and informal means by which members communicate with each other. The annual Membership Directory provides a list of members, their addresses, telephone numbers, and affiliations.
Journal of the Society for American Music
The Journal of the Society for American Music is an internationally recognized, refereed, scholarly journal devoted to all aspects of American music and music in America. The journal also includes scholarly reviews of books, music, recordings, and other media relevant to its central mission.
